Levi Duncan Ellis' Obituary
Levi Duncan Ellis, age 39 of Neodesha, KS, was found deceased on September 24, 2024 near Neodesha, KS.
Levi was born March 22, 1985 in Parsons, KS to Duncan and Barbara (Ulmer) Ellis. As a toddler, he went to live with John Ellis and Marsha, where he was raised alongside his 2 brothers and 2 step-brothers in Cherryvale. He graduated from Cherryvale High School in the class of 2003.
As a young man, Levi loved to fish and work on cars, or really anything that had a motor. He lived life on his own terms, and always had that ornery smile on his face and could make you mad at him, yet make you smile and laugh at the same time.
Levi was a loyal person to those he loved and would drop what he was doing to help you out or do anything for you. He hated to be alone and always had to have people around. His peace was found in music, which he had to have playing all the time.
Levi is survived by his mother, Barbara Carter of Liberty
Brothers, CJ Ellis and wife Christina of Pittsburg, and Dustin Ellis of Cherryvale
Step-brothers, Tim Johnson of Cherryvale, and Josh Truman of Cherryvale
Grandpa, Larry Hamilton
Aunt, Marvelle Ellis of Cherryvale
Many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends, some related by blood, some by love.
He was preceded in death by his father Duncan Ellis, John Ellis, grandparents Lewis and Mabel Ellis, and grandma Karin Hamilton
A memorial service for Levi will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, October 9, 2024 at Countryside Funeral Home in Fredonia.
