Lillian Josephine Hall's Obituary
Lillian Josephine Hall, 94, passed away on Monday, October 19, 2015 at Heritage Healthcare in Chanute, KS. Lillian was born on November 6, 1920 in Atchison, Kansas the daughter of Clifford and Sarah (Chick) Ingels.
On August 17, 1946 Lillian married Albert Eugene Hall and they raised 4 children together. Albert preceded her in death.
Lillian was a homemaker and an excellent mother to her four daughters. She loved to go dancing, to fish, hunt and be outdoors gardening. Lillian was an excellent artist in oil painting.
Lillian was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Albert, her sister Ellen Garside, her grandson Allen Obermiller, her granddaughter Carlena Lawson, and great-grandson Kyle Buchanan.
She is survived by her daughters Patty Obermiller - husband Mel - of Yates Center, KS; Sally Noble – husband Ted – of Iola, KS; Shirley Fishel – husband Gary – of Toronto, KS; and Carlene Hall of Toronto, KS; 7 Grandchildren, 13 Great Grandchildren, 2 Great-Great Grandchildren and numerous friends.
Visitation will be held Monday, October 26, 2015 from noon - 1 p.m. at Countryside Funeral Home Johnson Chapel 101 N. Highland in Chanute, KS. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, October 26, 2015 at 1:30 p.m. at Countryside Funeral Home Johnson Chapel. Inurnment will be at Neodesha Cemetery in Neodesha, Kansas.
Family requests memorials in memory of Lillian to Friends for Life in Yates Center to help people in Woodson County dealing with cancer and may be left with or mailed to the funeral home at 101 N. Highland, Chanute, KS.
