We always loved going to Chanute with Dad (Charles) and Mom(Catherine) to see grandparents, and Dad's brothers and sisters. Aunt Mac was a wonderful lady, will forever remember when all her brothers and sisters got together playing music and singing into the late evenings at Grandma and Grandpas house. Aunt Mac and my mom (Bertie) would do each other's hair once a week. I remember seeing them at the kitchen table having a grand time visiting while their hair dried in the pin curls. Aunt Mac always had a jolly laugh and she could make you smile no matter what mood you were in. She will be dearly missed.
You have finally gone to be with your entire family, Aunt Mac. I know Uncle Les will be 'lost' without you. Give all our loved ones big hugs and we will see you again when we, too, are called 'Home'.
