Lillie Dee Ann Lee's Obituary
Lillie Dee Ann Lee, 67 passed away on Sunday, November 30, 2025.
Lille Dee Ann Lee was born August 27, 1958, in Fredonia Kansas to Lawrence Koenig and Helen McAdams. She graduated from Chanute High School in May of 1976. After high school she moved to Lenexa and worked at the JC Penny warehouse with her sister Judy Garcia. In 1978 she moved to Buffalo Kansas where she met and started her family with Joseph Kelly Lee. In January of 1979 she had 1 daughter, Wendy Jo Lee and joined in holy matrimony to Joseph Lee in the spring of 1980. Her and Joseph packed up the family and moved to Cushing Oklahoma for better financial opportunities. When their daughter Wendy was of school age Lillie moved back to Buffalo Kansas and Joseph continued working as a tank coating applicator traveling across the United States to support their family. Lillie remained an at home mother to their daughter Wendy and caregiver to her mother Helen in the late 80's. She started her warehouse management skills with Tioga Territory of Chanute Kansas in the early 2000's and her own professional over the road travels with them to Fort Worth Texas stock shows.
Lillie was always a caring individual that enjoyed time with family and friends in a large setting and there were always good food and laughter from all that were around her. She was a large contributor to her community through her hard work with the Buffalo Homecoming Committee as well as being a loving Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother.
Lillie is survived in the home by Joseph Lee. Her daughter Wendy Lee, Grandsons Christian Lee, Ian Faller, and Granddaughter Victoria Faller, Great Granddaughters Lakyn Faller, Lauren Lewis, Lillie Faller, Amber Faller, and Aurora Faller are her immediate family outside her home. Surviving siblings include Ronald Decker, Dean Joyce, Patrick Joyce, Elizabeth Jones, Judy Garcia and many nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by Grandmother Lillie McAdams, Mother Helen Huffman, Father Lawrence Koenig, brothers Lawrence and Kenneth Koenig, Charles Michael Joyce and niece Melissa Huffman.
A Memorial Service celebrating Lillie's life will be held at Countryside Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 9, 2025 at 11:00 AM.
