Linda Rae Haviland's Obituary
Linda Rae Haviland, age 70, passed away Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at home. Linda was born on January 17th, 1945 to Fred and Esther Rehmert.
Linda attended Thayer Elementary School in Thayer, KS. She married Charles Leroy Haviland on September 28th, 1962. She was a member of First Christian Church in Chanute, KS. Linda and her husband were avid travelers.
Linda is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a brother, Pete Rehmert, and daughter in-law Angie Haviland.
She is survived by her two sons, Kevin and Daniel Haviland. A brother Fred Rehmert, two sisters: Cleva Chambers and Sharon Wheeler. She had 4 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Services will be Thursday, April 16th, 2015 at First Christian Church in Chanute, KS at 2 p.m. Visitation at 1p.m prior to the service. Graveside services will follow at Thayer Cemetery in Thayer, KS. Memorials may be sent to the First Christian Church and The National Kidney Foundation.
