Linda Kay Millar's Obituary
Linda Kay Millar, age 79 of New Albany, died Thursday, September 14, 2017 at Fredonia Regional Hospital. Linda was born on June 30, 1938 in Fredonia, KS, the daughter of James Henry and Mary Lillian (Kimble) Culbertson.
After high school on May 3, 1958 Linda married William D. Millar. Linda and Willie have been married for 59 years, and he survives at their home. Linda was a member of the 1st Christian Church of Fredonia, and also attended the New Albany United Methodist Church. She worked as a CNA at the Fredonia nursing home and later as a chop saw operator at Prestige, until retirement.
Linda enjoyed going fishing, cooking, helping cook chicken and noodles at the New Albany UMC, working in her garden and taking care of her dogs. Most of all, Linda loved being with her family, watching her children and grandchildren in sporting events.

Linda was proceeded in death by her parents, brothers; Jackie and Glen Culbertson, sisters; Lillie Hoyt and Hila Claus.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at 10:30 AM at Countryside Funeral Home in Fredonia with Mike Myers officiating, burial to follow at Weakley Cemetery at New Albany. Visitation will be held Monday with the family receiving friends from 5-7 PM at the funeral home.
