Linda Sue Orth's Obituary
Linda Sue Ward Orth, 72, of Chanute, KS passed away on March 1, 2019 at the home of her daughter, Anna Huffman. She was born October 1, 1946 at St. John’s Hospital in Iola, KS.
Linda attended St. Patrick’s Catholic School for nine years and graduated from Chanute High School in 1964. She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church and Ladies Altar Society.
She worked as a checker at Food Town Grocery in Chanute for nine years and then as a secretary in radiology at Neosho Memorial Hospital in Chanute for 12 years.

Matthew Orth, fiancé Rocio, and granddaughter Gabby of Humboldt, KS

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Gladys (Fiene) Ward; and brother, Joseph Paul Ward.
Cremation has been requested. Rosary will be recited on Thursday, March 7, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Chanute. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. on Friday, March 8, 2019 at St. Patrick Catholic Church. Inurnment will follow the service at St. Patrick Cemetery in Chanute. The family suggests memorials to be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Operation Smile and may be left with or mailed to the funeral home.
