Lois Loether's Obituary
Lois Loether, a lifetime resident of Fredonia, Kansas passed away Sunday June 14, 2009 at Olathe Medical Center in Olathe, Kansas. She was born June 18, 1929 to Louis “Lou†and Vesta (Whiteside) Hoover in Fredonia, Kansas. She married Karl Loether on November 20, 1948 in Fredonia, Kansas, and they were happily married for 46 years until his passing in 1994.
Lois was a member of First Christian Church in Fredonia. She was also an active member of the Red Hats Society, The Kansas Twin Association, The Senior Center and The Hospital Auxiliary. Lois also loved to dance.

Barbara Brummitt of Shawnee, Kansas
One Son:
Brian Loether of Plano, Texas
Her twin sister:
Louise Kelsey of Fredonia, Kansas
Four grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Lois is preceded in death by both parents, and her husband Karl.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM Friday, June 19, 2009 at Countryside Funeral Home in Fredonia, Kansas. Visitation will be held Thursday, June 18, 2009 from 9AM until 7PM at Countryside Funeral Home in Fredonia, Kansas, with family receiving friends from 6PM-7PM. Family suggests contributions to the Fredonia Thanks Program or the Senior Center for Scholarship and may be left with the funeral home. Online condolences may be left at www.countrysidefh.com.
