Tom and Lois were our neighbors in Chanute for years before we moved. Many memories of them. They babysit our twins many times and Lois also help them make a cross-stitch picture and had it framed for us for Christmas, I still have them. They were also substitute grandparents at many school events. They were awesome neighbors!! Our condolence to all the family! Love and Prayers, Joe and Audry Glotzbach and Family
Mrs Slater was my teacher at Fairfield School and was my favorite teacher through-out the years. Later she became neighbors to my parents and we became good friends visiting during walks around the block, in Walmart and the few times I stopped by. Lois was a wonderful sweet and spry lady who always addressed me with a smile on her face and a look of seeing a long lost friend. She was a inspiration to me while in school. Always encouraging me to do better. She continued to inspire me with her Grace, her enthusiasm for life and the energy she expressed as she aged. You will always be in my thoughts. May you rest in peace with your heavenly family near.
