Lois Joan Young-Fike's Obituary
Lois Joan Young – Fike, age 71, passed away, June 12, 2014 at her residence in Tulsa Ok. Lois was born on June 15, 1942 in Leavenworth, KS the daughter of James and Bessie (Kirk) Kern.
After attending school in Chanute, KS, she worked for thirty plus years as a Senior Real Estate Closing Specialist and Manager of Stewart Title, Delta Title, and First Title.
On July 3, 1994 she married Roy Fike in Fall River, KS.
She is survived by her husband, Roy Fike, her children; Diane Culpepper and husband Steve of Houston, TX, Kim Cole of Tulsa, OK, Michael Cobb of Tulsa, OK and Kenny Fike and wife Sarah of St. Louis, MO, her grandchildren: Jessica, Michelle, Haley, Jamie, Bobby and Tommy, her great grandchildren Mia and Kaya, siblings, Beverly Myers and husband Duke of Corpus Christi, many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews, whom she loved with all her heart.
She was preceded in death by her parents; James and Bessie, brothers; David Kern, Kenneth Kern, Raymond Kern, Robert Kern, and sister; Nadine Brinkmeyer Burghart.

Funeral Services will be held June 21, 2014 10:30 a.m. at the Zion Lutheran Church in Chanute, KS. Visitation will be Friday evening June, 20, 2014 from 5-7 p.m. The family suggests memorials to Saint Francis Hospice in Tulsa, OK and may be left with or mailed to the funeral home. Countryside Funeral Home Gibson Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
