Lola Pauline Foust's Obituary
Lola Pauline Foust, age 90, a resident of Moline, Kansas passed away Tuesday, May 5, 2009 at the Howard Twilight Manor in Howard, Kansas. She was born on June 16, 1918 on the family farm near Moline, Kansas the daughter of John William and Mae Maria (Davis) Miller.
On September 12, 1936 Lola was united in marriage to Travis Foust in Winfield, Kansas. Lola was a homemaker. She was a member of the Moline Christian Church. Lola was known for her delicious pies that she baked for church dinners. She also enjoyed gardening, flowers, canning, and ceramics.
Lola is survived by her husband Travis Foust of the home, a son Gary Foust and his wife Sandy of Winfield, Kansas, a daughter Gaylene Hebb and her husband Lee of Moline, Kansas, one brother Melvin Miller and his wife Juanita of Moline, Kansas, one brother-in-law John Foust and his wife Mildred of Moline, Kansas, seven grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, five sisters, four brothers, and one great grandchild.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, May 8, 2009 at Moline Christian Church in Moline, Kansas with Pastor Stan Rumbaugh officiating. Visitation will be held Thursday from 5 to 7 PM at the Moline Christian Church. Interment will be at Moline Cemetery. Family suggests contributions to the Moline Christian Church and may be left in care of the funeral home. Online condolences may be left at www.countrysidefh.com.
