Lola Mae Reinhart's Obituary
Lola Mae Reinhart, age 89, a resident of Fredonia, Kansas passed away Sunday, November 17, 2013 at the Fredonia Regional Hospital. She was born August 29, 1924 in Fredonia, Kansas the daughter of Alonzo and Etta (Carroll) Conrad.
On February 4, 1947 she married Donald Reinhart in Fredonia and he survives at their home.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Fredonia, where she served as a former Sunday School Teacher and was a member of the United Methodist Women. She also assisted with Vacation Bible School for several years. She was also a member of the EHU Friendly Farm Unit where she held several offices.
Survivors in addition to her husband Donald include two daughters Jane McGinnis and her husband Eldon of Fredonia, Kansas and Anita Sumner and her husband Paul of Topeka, Kansas; one son Wayne Reinhart and his wife Candie of Coffeyville, Kansas; three sisters, Nadine Timmons and Ida Buchanan both of Fredonia, Kansas and Harriet Snyder of Weir, Kansas; six grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alonzo and Etta Conrad, two brothers Junior Conrad and Martin Conrad; one sister Betty Youngstrom; one grandson Justin Sumner and one granddaughter Kristen Reinhart.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at Countryside Funeral Home with Mike Myers officiating. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 4 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be at Fredonia Cemetery. Family suggest memorials to either the Alzheimer’s Association or the American Diabetes Association and may be sent to the funeral home.
