Loren Fear's Obituary
Loren Fear, age 94, a resident of Hamilton, Kansas and formerly of Howard, Kansas passed away Saturday, November 21, 2009 at his home. He was born on October 11, 1915 in Howard, Kansas the son of Seth Thomas and Bertha (Butterfield) Fear.
Loren worked for the City of Howard as the Water and Sewer Superintendent. Loren was a member of the Lions Club. He enjoyed fishing and hunting.
He is survived by two daughters Sharon Fear-Martin of St. Charles, Illinois and Drusilla Land of Eureka, Kansas, three granddaughters and five great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Forest Fear, two sisters Fern Fear and Barbara Jontra and one daughter Loretta Sue Fear.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, November 27, 2009 at 10:30 AM at Grace Lawn Cemetery with Pastor Robin Haines officiating. Family suggests contributions to the American Cancer Society and may be left with funeral home. Online condolences may be left at www.countrysidefh.com. Arrangements are under the direction of Zimmerman Funeral Home, Howard, Kansas.
