Loretta Frances McDonald's Obituary
Loretta Frances McDonald, age 69, of Chanute, Kansas, passed away Sunday, May 21, 2017. Loretta was born on February 13, 1948 in Neosho Falls, KS the daughter of Carl Cleabearn Young, Sr. and Edith Iola (Herndon).
Loretta was a loving mom, grandma, sister, and aunt. She was an avid reader and enjoyed quilting and needlepoint in her spare time. Loretta loved children and was a Sunday School teacher for many years. She was known for having a green thumb and being able to revive nearly dead plants on a regular basis. Loretta was a devoted member of Faith Bible Church in Chanute, Kansas where she attended regularly.

Loretta was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Arlene Duke and Edith King; and brother, Robert Young.
Cremation has taken place.
A visitation will be held on Friday, May 26, 2017 at Faith Bible Church in Chanute, Kansas at 1:00 p.m. A service will follow immediately at 2:00 p.m. Online condolences may be left at: www.countrysidefh.com.
