Mandy Nacole Lamphier's Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mandy Nacole Lamphier. She passed away on January 13, 2023, at the age of 45, leaving to mourn family and friends.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Ethan, Elsie, and Eli; her mother, Connie Tharp; her father, Quentin Watts; her twin sister, Mindy Watts, and brother, Justin Watts; her grandmother, Virginia Tharp; her sister-n-law, Robin Watts; her nieces, Emmi, Jayden; and nephews, Alex, and Ryan.
Mandy has shown great courage and strength throughout her 2-year battle with Glioblastoma. She fought harder than most. Her strength came from many places, but her greatest source of strength came from her 3 children. We all know that every day she won the small battles, so she could have one more day to spend with them.
It’s not surprising that Mandy had the courage to wake up every day and face the fight, because she showed determination and strength throughout her life. As an adult, she had many accomplishments. She worked her way through the ranks at Textron Aviation and she took great pride in her career as an Engineering Manager. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree and Master’s Degree while raising a family and working a full-time job. Mandy lived her life to the fullest right up until the end. If we learned anything from Mandy, we will live our lives a little better and hug our family and friends a little tighter.
