Margaret Louise Brinkman's Obituary
Margaret Louise Brinkman, age 90, formerly of Humboldt, passed away Wednesday, December 14, 2016 in Overbrook, Kansas. Margaret was born on February 28, 1926 in Humboldt, KS the daughter of Walter H. and Hilda (Boettjer) Brinkman.
Margaret spent most of her childhood in the Elsmore area but was born in and graduated from high school in Humboldt, KS. She worked as a telegrapher from 1944 to 1946 and then began working for Humboldt National Bank – what is now Emprise. She worked for the bank until her retirement in 1991. In her free time she enjoyed traveling, learning about Humboldt history, and spending time with her friends. Margaret was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Humboldt.

Margaret was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Homer Brinkman.
A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, December 19, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Countryside Funeral Home at 908 Central in Humboldt, KS. Interment will be private at Mt Hope Cemetery in Humboldt, KS.
