Margaret Eva (King) Mueller's Obituary
Margaret Eva (King) Mueller, age 90, passed away at Heritage Healthcare in Chanute, KS on January 3, 2015. Margaret was born on Sept. 16, 1924 in Humboldt, KS; the daughter of Charlie and Etta Faye (Clark) King. She was raised in Humboldt, KS, attending Humboldt Schools and eventually graduating from Humboldt High School.
Margaret King and Ernest Mueller fell in love and married and had four children in Humboldt. She was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Humboldt.
Margaret was preceded in death by her parents; husband: Ernest; a son: Ernest R. Mueller; three sisters: Minnie Mueller, Mary King and Erma Jo Barnett.
She is survived by two sons: Rodney Mueller of Humboldt and Bruce and wife Mary of Chanute, KS; daughter: Lora and husband Al Jesseph of Chanute, KS; a brother: Charles and wife Dorothy of Wyoming; a brother-in-law: Charles Mueller and wife Carol of Louisburg, KS, grandchildren: Kimberly Crelston, Robert Mann, David Mueller, Marsha Beeman, Jon Greve, Tracy Row, Deana Dighero and a host of great and great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services for Margaret are planned for Thursday, January 8, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Humboldt, KS; burial will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery, Humboldt, KS. Visitation is planned prior to the service on Thursday, January 8, 2014 from 1 p.m. – 2 p.m. at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Humboldt. The family suggests memorials in Margaret’s memory be made to St. Peter’s Lutheran Church and sent in care of Countryside Funeral Home 101 N. Highland Chanute, KS 66720.
