Margaret M. Shinkle's Obituary
Margaret M. Shinkle, 90, of Fredonia, passed away on Saturday, October 7, 2023 at the Neodesha Care and Rehabilitation Center. Margaret was born on October 20, 1932, in Florence, KS the daughter of William Taylor and Faye M. (Stovall) Robinson.
Margaret was a graduate of Coyville High School, class of 1950. Margaret worked at the J.C. Penney store in Fredonia and then Bennetts Variety, where she met the love of her life, A. D. Shinkle. On April 28, 1962, Margaret and A. D. married and spent the next 40 years together until his death on October 9, 2002.
Margaret loved to travel with A.D., they would take tour bus trips, go to music festivals, or just spend time together going fishing. Margaret was a member of the First Christian Church of Fredonia and dedicated as much time as she could helping at the Thrift Store.

Numerous great nieces and nephews.
Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, husband A.D. and brothers Gerald and Alvin Robinson.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 13, 2023, at 10:00 AM at Countryside Funeral Home with burial to follow at Fredonia City Cemetery. There will be no visitation. Memorials have been suggested to the First Christian Church of Fredonia and may be left with or mailed to the funeral home.
