Margaret had many and varied interests. She enjoyed quilting and was a member of Sunflower Quilt Guild for 20 years. She spun wool on her spinning wheel and dyed the wool with extracts from plants she and neighbor gathered. She loved attending auctions and antique shows, refinishing old furniture, and reading. In retirement, she and Woodrow enjoyed bus trips to attractions in the Midwest and beyond.
