There were four of us in the CHS Class of '54.- also at CJC. Marilyn Jean Johnston Wright, Janice Strubhart Killion, Marilyn June Kessinger Hames, and me - Martha Finney Bross. We were close friends...more like sisters. Reading about "Kess" grieved me intensely; - I am the only one left. Derek and Kaye, please know your mother was dearly loved by many. My prayers are for you who she loved so much. My words are inadequate, but my heart is with you!

Kaye & Derek, I’m so very, very sorry to get Kaye’s message about your sweet Momma. Marilyn was the absolute sweetest person without ever having to try. I knew I always had a 2nd Mom. I can honestly say she was one of two ladies my Mom really considered a true friend. I’m sure they’ve found each other up in already.
