Marjorie Hilda Huffman's Obituary
Marjorie Hilda Huffman, age 91, a resident of Golden Living Center, Fredonia, Kansas passed away Wednesday, September 26, 2007. She was born on January 15, 1916 in Fredonia, Kansas the daughter of A.M. and Cora (Brady) Fulghum. She was a graduate of Fredonia High School.
On October 19, 1937 Marjorie was united in marriage to Dean Huffman at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Fredonia, Kansas and he preceded her in death.
She was a homemaker and a volunteer for various organizations while living in Denver, Colorado. Marjorie was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers; Joe and Pete Fulghum and one sister Betty Amos. She is survived by one daughter Lynn Settle of Fredonia, Kansas, one son David Huffman of Grant, Colorado, one sister Sister Teresina Fulghum of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, 5 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial with rosary will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, September 29, 2007 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Fredonia, Kansas with Father Stephen Thapwa officiating. Interment will be at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery in Fredonia. Family suggests contributions to the Sacred Heart Catholic Church or Arts Council or Charity of Choice and may be left in care of the funeral home.
