Marjorie Jeanne Pape's Obituary
Marjorie Jeanne (Bahr) Pape of Severy, KS was born November 30, 1926 in Howard, KS and departed this life on January 8, 2016. She was the first child of Loren Walter Bahr and Lena Leota (Boone) Bahr.
Marjorie attended grade school and high school in Severy. On graduation night, May 16, 1944 she married the love of her life, Walter Carl Pape. To this union was born one son and two daughters.
She was preceded in death by her husband Walter, of 64 years, her parents, Loren and Leota Bahr, one sister, Rozanna Jacques, three brothers, Marlyn, Robert and Garry Bahr, one niece, and one nephew.
Those left to cherish her life are: son, Eugene Pape and wife Teresa of Viola, KS; daughters, Deborah Samuels of Oklahoma City, OK, and Kimberly Warren and husband Bobby of Haysville, KS; grandsons, Matthew, Patrick, and Zachary Pape, Kyle and Jeremy Samuels, and Ryan Warren; granddaughters, Elizabeth Pape, Amandria Warren Bayer, Laticia Warren Harris, and Erica Warren; great grand children, William and Mason Pape, Aidan and Ethan Pape, Alex Samuels, Liberty and Justice Samuels, Avelea and Arwyn Bayer, Adam, Lucas and Emma Warren, and Brynn Harris. Two sisters; Lavina Green and Janet Bahr; a sister-in-law, Jessie Bahr; two brothers-in-law, Dave Pape and Junior Pape; many nieces and nephews; many great and great-great nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, January 15, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at the Severy Baptist Church. Visitation will be Thursday, January, 14, 2016 from 5-7 p.m. at Countryside Funeral Home, 206 E. Washington, Howard, KS. 67349. Family suggests memorials to the Severy Baptist Church and may be mailed to the funeral home at P.O. Box 1233, Howard, KS. 67349.
