Marlys Rogene Landwehr's Obituary
Marlys Rogene Landwehr, age 76, a resident of rural Fredonia, Kansas passed away Saturday, May 12, 2012 at the Fredonia Regional Hospital. She was born August 9, 1935 in Sutherland, Nebraska the daughter of Horace Eugene and Ruby Lillian (Peterson) Miller.
Marlys married Winton Brown and to this union one son Stan was born. Marlys married Joe Reynolds and to this union one daughter Rhonda was born. On December 22, 1978, Marlys married Leonard R. Landwehr at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Fredonia. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Fredonia and was in charge of the church prayer chain. Marlys was a homemaker and she enjoyed reading.
She is survived by her son Stan Reynolds and wife Julie of Neodesha, Kansas, her daughter Rhonda Taylor and husband Rusty of New Strawn, Kansas, one brother Doug Miller of Pittsburg, Kansas, four grandchildren and one great grandchild. Marlys was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Leonard Landwehr on January 4, 2012.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Fredonia. Rosary will be recited at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday with visitation following until 8:00 p.m. at the church. Interment will be held at Sacred Heart Cemetery.
