Mary Caroline Miller's Obituary
Mary Caroline Miller age 94 of Eureka, Kansas died Sunday August 15, 2010 at Greenwood County Hospital in Eureka, Kansas. Mary was born February 23, 1916 in Upola, Kansas, the daughter of Elbert Stuart and Grace Mabel (Ohler) LaMont.
On January 6, 1936, in Howard, Kansas, Mary married Willis Howard Miller. They operated a cattle ranch north of Howard. In the late 1970’s Mary and her husband made their winter home in Florida for four years. In 1980, the moved to Mesa Regal RV Resort in Mesa, Arizona where they lived for 25 years before returning to their home in Howard.
Mary and Willis were married for 69 years until his death of December 18, 2005. Mary was a 50 plus year member of the Chapter R, P.E.O., she was also a member of the First Baptist Church.

Niece: Karen Shields of Waverly, Iowa
She was preceded in death by her husband Willis.
Cremation has been requested, a graveside memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, October 9, 2010 at Grace Lawn Cemetery in Howard. Memorial contributions in her name can be made to the First Baptist Church and may be left with the funeral home. Services have been entrusted to: Zimmerman Funeral Home 206 E. Washington, P.O.
