Much love to you and your family always,
Linda Dietz

Dear Mary Jo, I was sorry to read of your mother's passing. She was a dear friend to my mother, attentive and kind. I pray the Lord will strengthen and comfort you in your loss, and bring you joyful, peaceful memories. In Him, Gay O'Rourke
Mrs. King was my favorite teacher. She was my third grade teacher at Hutton. I admired her and loved her ways of teaching. I fell in love with Little House on the Prairie because of her and SHE confirmed my ideas that I wanted to become a teacher when I grew up. She played a huge roll in that as in my teaching classes in college when asked to think about my favorite teachers, she was always the first. Mrs. King impacted so many people in so many ways and will be truly missed. May God's peace be with you all during this time.
My thoughts & prayers for the family. I unfortunately did not know Mrs. King. However, Mrs King's mother, Mrs. Cleora H. Grady, was my first- and second-grade teacher at Perry School, a country school in the southeast corner of Woodson County. I loved Mrs. Grady! She was an awesome person and a wonderful teacher. She always dressed to perfection and looked like a million dollars, plus she drove the neatest early 1960's black Ford car.
Mary Jo and family I am sorry for your loss of your beloved mother. I hope the love and support of your family and friends give you comfort. With kind regards, Carol Smith, St.Paul, Ks.
So very sorry for your loss. Mary was a very sweet and wonderful person that will truly
be missed by all who have had the pleasure of knowing her
Mrs. King was my third grade teacher at Roosevelt School. I attribute my love of reading to her. My fondest memories of 3rd grade are of her reading aloud to us every day after lunch. During the school year she read most of the "Little House" books to us. I still love them to this day. May she test in peace. My prayers and sympathy to her family.
