Melinda M. Miner's Obituary
Melinda Marie Miner, 65, of Altoona, KS passed away on Tuesday, March 28, 2023 at Neosho Memorial Regional Medical Center in Chanute. Melinda was born on May 11, 1957 in Coffeyville, KS the daughter of Carl and Hila (Culbertson) Claus.
Melinda was a graduate of Fredonia High School, Class of 1975. Melinda worked at Cobalt in Neodesha for 28 years. Melinda was a hard worker and tried to stay active, when not at work, she was on her farm taking care of her cattle, horses and goats. She enjoyed spending time with each of her daughters, she loved to cook big meals for her family and spoil them. More importantly, she enjoyed spending time and raising her grandson Ryder.
On August 4, 2012, Melinda married Larry Dean Miner. Melinda and Larry both brought 2 daughters each into this marriage and Melinda loved and supported all of them as if they were her own. Melinda and Larry were married for 10 years until Larry’s death of July 24, 2022.

3 Great-Grandchildren: Gannon, Skyler, David
Melinda was preceded in death by her parents, husband Larry and brother Danny Hawley.
Cremation has been requested with a memorial service to be held on Tuesday, April 4, 2023 at 3:00 PM at Countryside Funeral Home in Fredonia with Pastor Tom Eastman officiating.
