Melvin R. Goodrich's Obituary
Melvin R. Goodrich, age 65, of Fredonia, Kansas passed away Thursday, August 2, 2007 at. Jane Phillips Medical Center, in Bartlesville, Ok. Melvin was born in Caney, KS on May 1, 1942, the son of Alva and Bessie (Campbell) Goodrich. On April 27, 1962 he married Shirley Haughn in Caney, Kansas, Shirley survives at their home.
Before retirement, Melvin worked as an electrical lineman for Par-Electric out of Wichita, KS. He also operated Precision Tire in Fredonia, he was a member of the I.B.E.W. Local 304, he loved to work on cars, go air-boating, and fish in his free time.

He was preceded in death by: Brother Aaron Goodrich and sister Helen Greer
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, August 7, 2007 at Fairview Cemetery in Niotaze, KS, with Pastor Tom Bell officiating.
Visitation is Monday, August 6, from 6-8 PM at Countryside Funeral Home. The family suggests contributions to the American Heart Association and may be
left in care of the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of
