Merle Henry "Pete" Bloesser's Obituary
Merle Henry “Pete†Bloesser, age 64, a resident of Longton, Kansas passed away at his home on Wednesday, January 5, 2011. He was born in Nevada, Missouri on July 23, 1946 the son of Henry Alfred and Anna Louisa (Keith) Bloesser.
As a young man Pete attended the Adams Public Schools in Kingman County, Kansas. Pete was a mechanic and also did auto body work. He also worked for IBP and bridge construction.
Pete is survived by four daughters: Terina Templeton of Wilson, Kansas, Mandi Hollis of Sallisaw, Oklahoma, Shelly Bloesser of St. Louis, Missouri and Sherri Rader of Twentynine Palms, California, one sister Carol Lonard of Topeka, Kansas, nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, January 11, 2011 at the Church of Christ in Norwich, Kansas. Interment will be at Lone Star Cemetery, Pretty Prairie, Kansas. Family suggests memorial contributions be made to American Heart Association and may be left with the funeral home. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.countrysidefh.com.
