Mike was my youth pastor at Countryside Christian church. I learned how to be a man of God by his example. I remember him sharing with us a story about Cindy out on a run being sexually harassed and upon insuring her safety returned to the scene and corrected this person with the proof visible on his knuckles. “send me Lord” comes to mind by that lesson of being a sheep dog for those whom you love. i turned down OBC for the Corps as my oath but Mikes impact on me was fundamentally lifelong. we shared a love of horses and i very much appreciated him allowing me to tag along when he tended to his at the Skinner property. I miss him and Cindy. I too look fwd to reuniting with him when my time is up.
