Michael Lewis Rose's Obituary
Michael Lewis Rose, age 49 of Chanute, KS, passed away on August 29, 2018 at his residence. He was born on March 2, 1969 in Chanute, KS, the son of Melvin and Mary (Kennedy) Rose. Mike graduated from Chanute High School. He married Mary Shield, but they later divorced.
Mike was a loving son and brother who was a very hard worker, and took pride in whatever he set his mind to. He had a fondness for 70’s era movies, music, and TV shows and enjoyed collecting toy tractors. Mike was a protective brother to his older sister and could be talked into playing dress-up with her in their younger years, but was onery and enjoyed chasing her with snakes and spiders, too. He was a “mama’s boy” who believed himself to be quite southern and his life reflected that. Mike had lots of friends, who he was loyal to, and will be missed by many.
Michael is survived by:
Ex-Wife:
Mary Rose (Shield)

Marilyn Shiever (Howard) of Chanute, KS
