Michieal Eugene Kraft's Obituary
Michieal Eugene Kraft, 59, of Fredonia, Kansas, passed away Friday, July 16, 2021 at KU Medical Center. He was born on September 21, 1961 to Alfred and Sue Kraft in Colby, KS but soon after moved to Fredonia where he made his home for most all of his life. Mike was an avid fisherman, always the one to wade deep in the river where no one else would go, just to get the perfect spot. He worked for many years for several employers in and around Fredonia but ultimately enjoyed running his own small engine repair business from his home south of Fredonia, which he began around 2006. On May 14, 1982 Mike married Janice Rogers (Kraft) and together they had two sons, Justin and Jared. They later separated. Years later, Mike also had a daughter, Shelby Jones. Mike is survived by his son Justin, his wife Hailey of Independence, KS and daughter Shelby of Fredonia, KS, and three grandchildren. His son Jared preceded him in death along with his parents, Alfred and Sue and his brother David Kraft. Mike will be greatly missed by his family and his many friends.
The family will be holding a memorial service on July 31, 2021 at the Cornerstone Christian Church in Fredonia at 11:00am.
