As well as having been special family friends for almost our whole lives with the Paulie family, Mike and Aggie have been such great neighbors to my mother on the farm in these later years. Mike did carpentry work for my mother, when needed, and just generally kept an eye on her. He said that he felt she was like a mother. He and Aggie are both greatly missed! Love and prayers to the Paulie family at this time of great loss.

When I started my job last year at Galesburg Middle School, Mike was the first person to greet me and help me set up my classroom. From that day on we became buddies and his absence will be greatly felt. I am privileged to have known him and I send my condolences to his family and friends.

Mike was a great guy. He used to help my dad when he was in high school. He was always nice and was lots of fun. Two of my grandchildren went to Galesburg to jr. high and he liked to pick on them. They thought he was great. He will be missed.

I first met Mike and Aggie when I was teaching at St. Patrick School. Aggie volunteered in my room. Mike was a great guy, always friendly. He roofed our 2 story house, and at least 2 others in my neighborhood. He will be missed.
