Mildred L. Jaynes' Obituary
Mildred Lee Jaynes (Munyon) was born December 8, 1933, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Jefferson City, Missouri. She was the eldest of the two daughters of Rev. LeRoy and Mildred Frances Munyon (O’Bryan). She graduated from Camdenton, MO. high school in 1952. She received her Bachelor of Arts Degree from Drury College in Springfield, MO in 1960.
In 1955 she married Bill A. Jaynes and in 1956 their only child, Debbie Lee was born. Mrs. Jaynes was an elementary school teacher and taught full time from 1958 to 1975 in Kansas, Missouri and California. She was an active substitute teacher from 1975 to 1990 in Humboldt, Parsons, Erie and Chanute districts.
Mrs. Jaynes activities centered around family and church activities. She was a member of the Restoration Fellowship in Humboldt.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Bill in 2003.
She is survived by her daughter Debbie Ballagh (Richard), two granddaughters: Jennifer Thieman (Forrest) and Sasha Craig (Mark); four great – granddaughters: Megan Thieman, Paige, Lexi and Baylee Kidwell; two great grandsons: Hunter Thieman and Brent Slocum. She also leaves a sister: Sara Donaldson (Bud) and numerous nephews, nieces and cousins.
Funeral Services will be held at the Restoration Fellowship Church in Humboldt, KS on Tuesday, August 23. 2016 at 10:00 a.m. A visitation will be held at Countryside Funeral Home in Humboldt, KS on Monday, August 22, 2016 from 6-8 p.m. Interment will be in Yates Center Cemetery. Memorials have been suggested to the Humboldt Restoration Fellowship Church and may be left with or mailed to the funeral home. Online condolences may be left at www.countrysidefh.com.
