Mildred L. Odell's Obituary
Mildred L. Odell., age 83, of Fredonia, died Monday, February 4, 2013 at Fredonia Regional Hospital. Mildred was born on May 8, 1929 in Fredonia, the daughter of Andrew Jackson and Mary Katherine (Kincade) Wilson
Mildred was a graduate of Fredonia High School. On December 10, 1950 Mildred married Kenneth Odell. They were married for 39 years until his death on December 19, 1989. On January 17, 2004 Mildred married Emmett Keller, Mildred and Emmett were married for 5 years until his death of September 26, 2009.
Mildred worked throughout her life as a bookkeeper for various companies in Fredonia, Fredonia Co-op, Wilson County Grain and Kansas Banknote. She also worked for Parker and Smith Insurance agencies. Mildred always stayed busy with helping her friends, and family, she enjoyed doing needlecraft, crocheting, quilting, and being involved with the Fredonia Senior Center. She loved to travel, was a great cook, and always sent a card to friends and family on their special occasion day. Mildred was a member of the Cornerstone Christian Church and was well known to all as a giving, caring person.

7 Grandchildren: Mandy Rush, Natalie Puckett, Amber Rush, Jake Odell, Scott Odell, Brian and Craig Ward.
9 Great Grandchildren
Mildred was preceded in death by her parents, husbands Kenneth Odell and Emmett Keller, and 3
brothers Robert, David and Allen Wilson.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, February 8, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at the Cornerstone Christian Church in Fredonia with Pastor Mike Hughes officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday, 7, 2013 from 5-8 P.M. at the funeral home. The family has suggested memorials to the Cornerstone Christian Church and may be left with or mailed to the funeral home. Online condolences may be left at: www.countrysidefh.com.
