Mitchell Dan Haskins passed at his home in Chanute, Kansas on Thursday, August 14, 2025.
Mitchell Dan Haskins was born July 23,1953 to Robert j. Haskins, Sr and Veleta Daniel Haskins Sellars. He graduated from Myrtle Beach High School, South Carolina.
Mitchell is survived by nieces Lori Haskins Cavalcanti (Walker), Hudson, Ohio and Erin Haskins Gifford (Lance), Augusta, Kansas and nephew Scott Haskins (McKayla), Spring Hill, Kansas, and sister/in-law Teresa Haskins, Prairie Village, Kansas. Also surviving are great nephews and nieces Robert, Joe and Lucas Cavalcanti, Connor and Carson Haskins, Wren Haskins, Chloe Tillis, Cami Wade, Callie Wade and Gunner Gifford.
Mitchell was predeceased by his father Robert Haskins, Sr and mother Veleta Sellars, brothers Ronald Haskins and Dr. Robert J. Haskins, Jr, and nephew Brian Haskins.
Mitchell will be laid to rest at El Paso Cemetery in Derby, Kansas in a private ceremony. Memorial can be made in Mitchell's name to the Westview Southern Baptist Church or to a charity of your choice.
