Muriel Frances Serdynski's Obituary
Muriel Frances Serdynski, 91, of Chanute passed away on Tuesday, January 2, 2024, at Diversicare Health Care in Chanute. Muriel was born on April 14, 1932, in Sedalia, MO., the daughter of Herman Francis and Cecilia Christina (Meyer) Hobleman.
After completing high school, Muriel married Alexander Joseph Serdynski on May 23, 1953. Muriel and Alexander were married for 63 years until his death in 2016. Muriel worked various jobs as a retail salesclerk, she loved animals, and dedicated her life to her family, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Sister:
Wilda Kreutzer of Alton, MO.
Nine Grandchildren and 23 Great Grandchildren
Muriel was preceded in death by her parents, husband Alexander, two daughters: Kathleen Nichols and Mary Frances Serdynski, a brother Delbert Hobleman and sister Ruth Sommers.
Cremation has been requested, with burial planned at a later date. Memorials have been suggested to either the Castaways Animal Shelter Chanute and/or to the American Alzheimer’s Association and may be left with or mailed to the funeral home.
