Nancy Carol Sigg's Obituary
Nancy Carol Sigg, age 59, of Humboldt, KS passed away, October 7, 2014 at Windsor Place in Iola, KS. Nancy was born January 15, 1955 in Wichita, KS, the daughter of Winford and Maida (Makemsom) Black.
She was a member of Restoration Fellowship Church in Humboldt, KS. She loved spending time with family and taking her little dog, Sally for walks at the park. She was very creative and enjoyed oil painting and doing a variety of art and craft projects.
Nancy is survived by her daughter; Tina Cady-Friend and husband Travis of Savonburg, KS, uncle; Frank Makemsom and wife Donna of St. Paul, KS, cousin; Donita Paulie of Erie, KS, and granddaughter; Cassidy Friend.
She was preceded in death by her companion; David Ostrander, mother; Maida Tyler and husband Paul, and father; Winford “Buck” Black.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, October 18, 2014 10:00 a.m. at Restoration Fellowship Chapel. Visitation will be held Friday, October 17, 2014 6-8 p.m, at Countryside Funeral Home, Humboldt Chapel. Cremation will follow at a later date.
Family has suggested Allen County Animal Rescue Facility for memorials, and may be left with or mailed to the funeral home.
Countryside Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
