She touched so many people and was loved by so many. She had such a positive, youthful attitude. My recollections of first grade are very dim but I remember that Mrs. Johnson was very nice, she was pretty, she had long fingernails, and sometimes played “jacks" with us at recess. I have enjoyed seeing her at various times these past years. I treasure the visit that Sharon Kay and I had with her last year — her mind was so sharp. She will be missed by so many relatives and friends. Shirley Boler Dinkins
Nina was my first grade teacher her last year of teaching at Elsmore. To be her close neighbor these last 16 years and friends many years more has been so special. I treasure the memories of visiting her and her being in our home. She was also a good friend to George's mother Nada and he is honored to be one of her pallbearers. He will especially miss sharing cat stories with Nina. Betty Boler Hawley
