Nita L. Henson's Obituary
Nita L. Henson age 78 died Friday, November 23, 2018 at the El Dorado Care and Rehab Center. Nita was born on September 24, 1940 in Texas, the daughter of Dave and Gladys Linder.
Nita attended school in New Albany and then Fredonia High School. Nita married her first husband and had 4 children and later divorced. In 1964 she married Jim Henson and they had 2 more children and raised all 5 of them in the Fredonia area. Nita and Jim were married for 46 years until his death of July 1, 2010.
Nita worked at the Fredonia Nursing Home as well as a cook for the Fredonia School System. She enjoyed camping and fishing with her family. Nita enjoyed being at the lake, spending time with family and friends. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family.

Nita was preceded in death by her parents, husband Jim Henson, daughters Tonia and Sonia Henson, brother- Jr. Linder and sister- Thelma Clements
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Countryside Funeral Home in Fredonia, Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to service time, with burial to follow at the Fredonia City Cemetery.
