Norma Jean Warrick's Obituary
Norma Jean Warrick, age 86, of Chanute, Kansas, passed away Saturday, February 11, 2017. Norma was born on August 21, 1930 in Kansas City, KS the daughter of Floyd Albert and Catherine Anna (Metzger) Payton.
On August 28, 1953, Norma married Earnest George Warrick in Springfield, Missouri. Earnest preceded her in death in 2004.
Norma worked as a secretary/bookkeeper in the education industry. One of her favorite hobbies was making quilts which she gave to family members or sold. Norma loved church and discovering her family’s history through genealogy. She was a good friend and an amazing woman to those who knew her. Norma loved her family and enjoyed bragging on her grandkids and great grandkids. She enjoyed playing the piano and was a member of Faith Bible Church in Chanute, Kansas.

Norma was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Earnest; brother, Robert Payton; sons, Michael Warrick and John Warrick; and daughter, Donna Baker.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Colfax Cemetery in rural Chanute, Kansas. Online condolences may be left at: www.countrysidefh.com.
