Norman Ray Eisele's Obituary
Norman Ray Eisele, a rural Fredonia resident, passed away Friday, June 2, 2023, at his home, at the age of 80.
Norman was born August 3, 1942, in Altoona, KS to George and Mary (Hendrickson) Eisele. He grew up alongside one brother and two sisters, and attended Fredonia High School, graduating in the class of 1960.
On December 13, 1963, Norman married Vicki Green. Together, they raised one son, and were married 45 years until her passing in December 2008. After Vicki’s passing, he met Myrna Stout, and they were united in marriage on November 3, 2009. They have spent the last 13 years together.
Norman was raised as a farm kid, and chose that as a career, raising cattle and crops on his farm for most of his life. Along with farming, he worked at the Fredonia Alfalfa plant for a while, and then worked at the Lafarge Cement Plant until his retirement. He loved taking stuff to swap meets, which he did for nearly 35 years. He also liked tinkering with his tractors and equipment around the farm long after retiring and helping his son at auctions.
