Oma Lorene Hand's Obituary
Oma Lorene Hand, age 89 of Chanute, KS, passed away on November 21, 2018 at NMRMC in Chanute, KS. She was born on June 8, 1929 in Seiling, OK, the daughter of Charles and Letha (Wolf) Schlarb.
Lorene married Alfred Hand on February 5, 1946, he preceded her in death. Lorene loved antiques and enjoyed going to flea markets to see what kind of treasures she could find. She also enjoyed refinishing furniture. Lorene loved her family dearly especially all of her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be greatly missed.

Lorene was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sons, Ron Hand, Wayne Hand, Gary Hand; 2 brothers, 3 sisters; grandsons, Chad Hand and Justin Hand.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 27, 2018 from 5-7 p.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home Gibson Chapel 16 N. Forest in Chanute. Funeral service will be on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Countryside Funeral Home Gibson Chapel. Online condolences may be left at: www.countrysidefh.com.
