Patricia Gail Preset's Obituary
Patricia Gail Preset, 79, of Fredonia, passed away on Thursday, February 20, 2025, at her home. Patricia was born on September 22, 1945, in Levelland, TX., the daughter of Benjamin and Josephine Bennett.
After completing high school, Patricia furthered her education and went to Beauty School. She worked as a Beautician in Junction City, until her children were born. She dedicated her life to taking care of her children, she then took on various jobs as a cook to help support her family. Patricia worked several years for Mrs. C’s, in Fredonia, the Green Lantern in Neodesha, and prior to that Four Seasons in Altoona.
On January 13, 1975, Patricia married William Edward Preset. Patricia and William were married for 29 years when William passed away on February 27, 2004. When Patricia wasn’t working, she enjoyed playing board games and puzzles, but most importantly having time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, husband William, a Great Granddaughter Jaliyah, and siblings: sisters, Billy Jo Ivey and Joyce Beal and a brother Steve Pinnell
Patricia willed her body as an anatomical gift, so that future doctors and students could help learn. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 1, 2-25 at 1:00 PM at the United Methodist Church in Fredonia. Memorials in her memory have been suggested to the Fredonia Senior Center for meals and food gifts, and may be left with or mailed to the funeral home.
