Patricia Marie Sherman's Obituary
Patricia Marie Sherman, 85, of Eureka, KS passed away Tuesday, November 16, 2021. She was born April 15, 1936 to Jesse Lee and Mildred Marie Moege. She married Elmer Sherman on February 7, 1952. They shared their home in Toronto, KS and had two girls Marcia and Cheryl. Patricia was a devoted farmwife and mother. Her time was spent most often helping others before herself. She was a member of the Cowboy Church in Toronto and made her faith a priority always. Later in life, her grandchildren brought more smiles and great memories. After Elmer’s passing in 2017, Patricia made her home at the Eureka Nursing Center where she enjoyed Bingo and crafting with her many friends. She will always be remembered for her contagious smile and joyful singing, a nurturing, loving soul.
Patricia is survived by her Daughters Marcia Kerschner of Peabody, KS, Cheryl (Scott) Samuelson of Toronto, KS, her brothers Gary (Christine) Moege of Missouri and Jesse Moege and his wife of McPherson, KS, grandchildren Michelle (Aaron) Wood of Halstead, KS, Jesse Weatherby of Toronto, Nicole Nee of Texas, Travis Weatherby also of Toronto, great grandchildren Aubrey, Kinsey and Emilee Wood, Donovan Nee, Andee Weatherby, Hunter Miller and Fallon Nee.
Preceding her in death were her parents and husband Elmer and a sister, Judy Chrisman.
A memorial service will be held for Patricia at the Cowboy Church in Toronto, KS on Monday, November 22, at 2:00 pm.
