Patrick A. Sommer's Obituary
Patrick A. Sommer, age 66 of Altoona, Kansas passed away March 6, 2020 at Via Christi Saint Francis Hospital in Wichita, Kansas.
Patrick was born July 26, 1953 in Kansas City, Kansas to Harry and Ruth (Hobelman) Sommer. He grew up in the Fredonia area alongside 3 brothers. He attended Fredonia High School, graduating in the class of 1971.
After high school, Patrick served in the United States Air Force for 4 years. He worked as a heavy equipment operator, welder, and truck driver. He loved to hunt and fish, ride his motorcycles, and once in a while, take a trip to Waynoka, Oklahoma to the Little Sarah, taking his homemade dune buggy as well as all of his other toys.
Patrick is survived by his wife Deborah

Brothers: Paul Sommer, Joe Sommer, and Mike Sommer
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Cremation has taken place, a memorial graveside service will be held on Monday, March 16, 2020 at 1:00 pm, at the Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery in Fredonia.
Memorial contributions in Patrick’s name can be made to the Avenue of Flags and can be left with or mailed to the funeral Home.
