Patsy Ann Harding's Obituary
Patsy Ann Harding, age 80, passed away August 9th, 2021, at the Courtyards of Lake Granbury in Granbury, Texas.
Patsy was born in Stone County, MO on April 8th, 1941, to Harold Wilson and Marie Gilmore. Patsy graduated from Nixa High School in 1957. She married Jim Harding her middle school sweetheart in 1958 and gave birth to their only son Rickey in 1959.
They moved the family to Howard, KS in 1967 and together they ran Jim’s Service gas station; Jim in the garage and Pat keeping the books and running the house. In 1977, Pat and Jim went on the road trucking for the next 20 years across the nation and into Canada. Jim did the driving and Pat kept the books. After Jim’s passing, Pat worked at PJ’s until relocating to Texas in 2018.
She is survived by her son Rickey Lee Harding and his wife Gloria of TX; Granddaughter Heather Bouchard and her husband Isaac Bouchard of Colorado; Granddaughter Jillian Rangel of Texas; Granddaughter Alexandria Harding-Barcuch and husband Aaron Barcuch of Texas; great granddaughter Isabell Rangel and great grandson Joaquin Escamilla of Texas; Great granddogger Roxy and great grandcat Oban.
Pat was preceded in death by both her parents and her husband of 41 years Jim.
Funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, August 19, 2021 at Countryside Funeral Home in Howard, KS
Interment will take place in McConnell Cemetery, Nixa, MO at 10:00 AM on Friday, August 20, 2021.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation or Harry Hynes Hospice and can be mailed to or left with the funeral home.
