Patty Sue Davis' Obituary
Patty Sue Davis passed away on Thursday, January 11, 2024 at Neosho Memorial Regional Medical. Patty was born on July 25, 1953, in Parsons, Kansas to Bernard and Eva Stegman.
Patty graduated from Erie High School in 1971. On September 28, 1971, Patty married James C. Davis, Jr. Patty worked for the Chanute Housing Authority many years.
In 2000, Jim and Patty opened J&J Tires and operated it until their health declined in 2016.
She adored her grandkids and was over joyed that she was a great-grandmother. Patty loved attending sporting events and absolutely loved watching the boys race.
Patty is survived by her husband James of Chanute, son Jimmie (Lori) Davis of Chanute, grandsons Tyler and Tucker Davis of Chanute, daughter Mistie (Russ) Klauman of Columbia, SC, granddaughters Stacy (Kyle) Bridgwater of Ft. Bragg, NC, Katelyn Klauman of Columbia, SC, great grandson Sterling Bridgwater of Ft. Bragg, NC, son in law Darren Plumley of Dennis, KS, sister Geneva (Loren) Smith of Carl Junction, MO, and her brother Bob (Connie) Stegman of Erie, KS.
Patty is preceded in death by her beloved daughter Stacie Plumley and her parents Bernard and Eva.
Cremation has been requested and a Celebration of Life Visitation will be held on Friday, January 19, 2024 at Countryside Funeral Home from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
