Patty Fern Hinkle's Obituary
Patty Hinkle, 77, passed away in Chanute, KS on March 10, 2018. She was born on April 21, 1940 in Chanute to Cecil J. and Ivah K. (Shepard) Powell. Patty married Larry Johnson who preceded her in death in 1997.
Patty was a homemaker who enjoyed being active in the Senior Citizens Center Quilting Club and volunteered her time at Neosho County Community College’s Continuing Education Dept. She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Chanute.

Patty was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Larry; sister, Norma Wells; brother, Dale Powell; and daughter, Kathleen Nixon.
Cremation has been requested.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Patrick Catholic Church on Friday, March 16, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in Chanute, KS. Burial will follow at St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery. Memorials have been suggested to Castaways Animal Shelter and may be left with or mailed to the funeral home. Services have been entrusted to Countryside Funeral Home 101 N. Highland, Chanute, KS. 66720.
