Paul Edward Head's Obituary
Paul Edward Head, age 60, of Erie, passed away Thursday, June 16, 2016 at his home. Paul was born on April 1, 1956 in Parsons, KS. He was the son of Lowell Orland and Ella Freda (Berg) Head.
Thirty-three years ago, Paul began a relationship with Alvina (Wood) Steven Head and they have been together ever since. They raised five children together.
Paul attended Shawnee Mission North High School in Overland Park, KS and went on to work at many places and at many jobs during his life but spent most of his time working as an electrician for the railroad and working on cars. He was the co-owner of Heads Auto and Salvage.
Paul loved life and loved people. He was at his happiest when he was with his family and friends. He was a good storyteller as well as a good cook and he was ready with a meal and a story for anyone who visited, even strangers. He also loved music and loved to sing. His family describes him as happy, lovable, and a loving person.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents; brothers: Lowell E. Head and wife Debbie, and Raymond G. Head; a nephew: Tyler Wayne Stich; and uncles: Charles Head and Leo Head.
A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Countryside Funeral Home, Johnson Chapel. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 21, 2016 from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Online condolences may be left at: www.countrysidefh.com. Memorials have been suggested to the Paul Head Memorial Fund and may be left with or mailed to the funeral home. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in Chanute.
