Penny Jean Akridge's Obituary
Penny Jean Akridge, 76, of Chanute, KS passed away at her home on March 16, 2019. She was born on March 5, 1943 in Oklahoma City, OK to Richard Dean and Ellen Elise (Bower) Williams. Penny married Walter Lee Akridge, Jr. in Chanute, KS on October 6, 1966 and they enjoyed 52 years of marriage. He survives at their home.
Penny was a loving wife, mom, grandma, and great-grandma that was known for being a good listener and caring for others. Her family and friends considered her the most wonderful and beautiful person in the world.

Penny was preceded in death by her parents; stepdad, Bill Knock; son, Tony Stowell; sister, Pat Hand; and nephew, Chad Hand.
